Where Should I Put A Diesel Heater in My Caravan?
This is the first question that needs to be resolved when installing a diesel heater in any caravan or camper. Today I installed a heater in a 17ft Stoney Creek Hybrid and there was pretty much one spot available for the heater to be located – one space under cabinet work that the heater could fit.
Once we established that we then had to make sure we could drill a 90mm hole thru the floor without hitting obstructions, water lines, brake cables etc. There was just enough room and I managed to fit it in that one space. You can see the mass of cables and pipework I needed to avoid – especially with the exhaust which gets very very hot.
